The Beginning of the Idea.

Immunizers was conceived by three medical doctors in the 3rd quarter of 2003 with a common goal: to stress the importance of preventive medicine through vaccination.

Awareness on vaccine preventable diseases and immunization for the adult population has always been relatively low compared to the pediatric age group. 

Yet as more communicable diseases are being nationally and internationally recognized through different forms of media, public demand for knowledge and services regarding immunization have been increasing.  Recent outbreaks (Meningococcal outbreak in Baguio, Bird Flu in Southern Asia etc.) have generated campaigns on preventive medicine and vaccine preventable diseases among different communities.

Making Vaccination Convenient.

At present, Immunizers is a medical clinic solely dedicated to providing vaccination services.  Immunizers has vaccinated over 5,000 patients and administered over 11,000 doses in the past three years.  Immunizers has been awarded Best in Vaccination Services by the National Shopper’s Choice Awards in 2005 and 2nd Place Best in Immunization Practices by the Philippine Foundation for Vaccination in 2006.

Initially,these doctors ventured in providing home service vaccination to families and small groups.  As the demand grew, they found themselves as advocates of preventive medicine, especially from the position of vaccination.  To further develop adult immunization and increase awareness and coverage of preventing communicable diseases, these doctors then established the first Immunizers Clinic in Greenhills, San Juan on February 2005.

The entire medical team of Immunizers underwent training on Vaccination Recommendations and Cold-Chain Management to ensure that proper storage, transport and administration is done to provide quality vaccines for each patient.  Moreover, Immunizers developed its very own customized computer software program dedicated to patient immunization record-keeping.
